Emanuela Falletti and Matteo Vannucchi, from Space and Navigation Technologies Area, on 27th November, will participate in the ESCAPE Final Demo Event, that will take place at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC), France.
ESCAPE – European Safety Critical Applications Positioning Engine – is a project funded by the European GNSS Agency’s Fundamental Elements Programme that has developed an automotive-grade localization engine for autonomous vehicles, the ESCAPE GNSS Engine, or EGE.
During the Final Demo Event, attendees and journalists will be able to take a driverless ride on the University, tracked on an electric car equipped with the prototype developed by the ESCAPE project and powered by Galileo, the European Satellite Navigation System.
After the Demo and the presentation of the project outcomes, the event will continue with a dedicated Workshop on Localization Integrity for Autonomous Driving.
All the info about the project and the Final Demo Event is available on the project website.
