gReen and digitAl Initiative addreSsEd to dropoUts’ Prevention

The RAISE-UP project is funded by the Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI) programme, a part of the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), and is designed to prevent school dropout through an approach that supports learning motivation in students attending Vocational Institutes between the ages of 14 and 16, pursuing the principles of education, training, and lifelong learning as part of the European Pillars of Social Rights (EPSR).
It also puts into practice the European Green Deal and the Digital Agenda. The project is of an experimental nature and includes specific training actions for teachers and professional educators, as well as innovative and targeted educational activities in the field of skills related to ecological and digital transition.
In particular, the main actions of the RAISE-UP project are:
- a program to enhance the digital and ecological skills of teachers and educators;
- the offer of a coaching services to teachers in selected classes, with the goal of supporting them in motivating and engaging students at a higher risk of school dropout;
- the implementation of inclusive teaching practices focused on green and digital themes, involving collaboration between qualified educators and school teachers;
- the development and analysis of experimental data, the transfer and dissemination of results through communication actions, the engagement of stakeholders;
- communication and dissemination of results from pilot activities at the European level.
