PoC.
The PoC Instrument initiative (Proof of Concept) is among the activities established by the Agreement undersigned with the San Paolo Company for 2019-2021 with 5 Italian universities: Polytechnic University of Turin, University of Eastern Piedmont, University of Genoa and University of Naples Federico II.
The objective is to support the necessary activities for patented technology or university-registered software to go from an early development stage to an adequately evolved one that can show its potential at an industrial level. This reduces technological risk and favours future commercial use, possibly by setting up spin-off businesses out of the Universities.
Through this initiative personnel from Universities can be granted funding for the development of prototypes and demonstrators by participating to the PoC tender.
The five universities share one tender with five cut-off dates for applications.
