Transport Planning and Modeling.
LINKS offers multidisciplinary competences and develops innovative solutions for transport planning on diverse scale, from the European setting (i.e. trans-European corridors) to a macroregional and regional scale to the urban and neighbourhood scale, or even to a single crossing. The complementary competences of transportation, environment and energy engineers, urbanists, spatial planners, economists and mathematicians allow us to follow the whole transport planning process: from sector analysis and specialistic studies, to participated support and definition of policies and interventions, to the modelling of transportation systems and scenario simulations, to support for the implementation and experimentation of innovative solutions (infrastructural, organisational, technological and regulation) and to the evaluation of environmental, economic and social impacts.
The Foundation established itself as technical support for mobility planning of Regione Piemonte (Regional Mobility and Transportation Plan, Regional Action Plan for Electric Mobility, regional mobility Dashboard, Regional Logistic Plan), as Italian north-west landmark for public transportation, electric mobility and logistic systems (TPL tariff integration, Mobility as a Service, Italian North-West logistic platform, logistic Italian North-West Control Room Ironbonus) and, to an European level, as expert of the TEN-T Rhine-Alps corridor (CODE24, ERFLS, RAISE-IT).
