BELS+ Final Review Meeting was successfully held on 27th March in teleconference, for the travel bans imposed for the COVID-19 disease by European and Asian authorities. Reviewers expressed their appreciation for the results achieved during the 24-month project activities. The project’s heritage is the Galileo Demo Centre which is hosted by the Hanoi University of Science and Technology in Vietnam.
The Galileo Demo Centre hosts European SMEs’ solutions and products which are based on satellite navigation systems (GNSS), with particular focus on the European GNSS Galileo. The Centre is a showcase of GNSS-based European technology open to Southeast Asian officers and entrepreneurs.
BELS+, a project funded by the European GNSS Agency, proposed a set of coordinated actions to foster collaboration between Europe and Southeast Asia in the field of satellite navigation (GNSS). Main focus has been on SMEs willing to widen their market opportunities outside Europe.
