Emanuela Falletti and Matteo Vannucchi, researchers of The Space and Navigation Technologies Area, will participate in the 2019 edition of the Autonomy & Urban Mobility Summit (www.autonomy.paris/en/), that will be held in Paris on October 16th and 17th.
The event was founded in 2015 and it is dedicated to meet the growing challenge of urban mobility: it supports the transition to intelligent and sustainable mobility by connecting innovative companies with important decision makers, in both the private and public sectors.
Our researchers will present ESCAPE – European Safety Critical Applications Positioning Engine (www.gnss-escape.eu), a project funded by the European GNSS Agency’s Fundamental Elements Programme that has developed an automotive-grade localization engine for autonomous vehicles, the ESCAPE GNSS Engine, or EGE.
On October 16th, from 12.25 to 13.10, in the Autonomous Vehicles Industry talk a round-table will be dedicated the ESCAPE  (www.gnss-escape.eu/round-table-on-escape-at-autonomy-paris-conference-on-oct-16th/): the partners of the project will present their view on some of the hottest Autonomous Driving topics. The focus will be on the innovations at the core of the project, and on its outcomes.

ESCAPE will also have a booth in the main exhibition hall, the number C76.
