As part of the active cooperation with the University of Uppsala Marco Bazzani, from the Circular Economy & Sustainable Living Area, will give some lectures during the first week of December in the course of Robotics held by Professor Robin Augustine.

The lectures will focus on robotics applied to integrated health and social care and, in particular, they will be complemented by laboratories that will focus on several features of human-robot interaction in the domain of social robots and Socially Assistive Robots (SAR).

Over the years Marco gained competences in the fields of healthcare technology and, in his lectures, he will lead as an example his experience developed in particular in KSERA. The project proposed the evolution of traditional tele-monitoring systems towards conceptually new systems based on robotic technology and anthropomorphic device, as an aid for patients affected by Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
