On 1st and 2nd of April Enrico Ferro and Michele Osella, from Innovation Development Research Area, will be part of Compagnia di San Paolo’s delegation at Vision Europe Dialogue 2019, the annual summit of Vision Europe Consortium. The event will gather in Helsinki (Finland) a number of leading think tanks and foundations collaborating to address some of the most pressing public policy challenges that Europe is facing. Besides Compagnia di San Paolo, the convening partners are Bertelsmann Stiftung (Gütersloh, Germany), Bruegel (Brussels, Belgium), Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (Lisbon, Portugal), Chatham House (London, UK), Notre Europe Jacques Delors Institute (Paris, France), Center for Social and Economic Research (Warsaw, Poland), and Sitra (Helsinki, Finland).
The theme of this edition will be “Making Europe a pioneer of the fair data economy”. By means of an innovative dialogue-based format, delegates will shape future scenarios for the data economy in order to create a source of recommendations improving evidence-based policymaking at European level. In such an occasion, the contribution of LINKS Foundation’s representatives will regard data-driven innovation, new business models ushered-in by exponential technologies, and the experience of LINKS as Leader of the Business Task Force at the Big Data Value Association.
