B-Cratos project starts today! It is the first project won by LINKS under the “FET Open – Novel ideas for radically new technologies “call, which funds and supports scientific research and technology to explore completely new and radical ideas, able to generating both an economic and social impact in the future.
B-CRATOS (BioniC aRm enAbling cogniTive perceptiOn and uSe) aims at creating the first battery-free high-speed wireless in-body communication platform for Brain-Machine-Body connectivity.
The Circular Economy & Sustainable Living and Advanced Computing & Application Areas will deal specifically with Human Robot Interaction, Antenna design, HPC for brain signal analysis to control the bionic arm and tactile feedback management.
The project leader, the University of Uppsala, already collaborates with LINKS as coordinator of the Horizon2020 SINTEC project and through lectures held by our researchers at the Swedish university.
