On October 29, LINKS will host the workshop “For a sustainable lighting of the public spaces: a proposal for Manger Square (Bethlehem)”, organized in the framework of the NUR – New Urban Resources project.
The main goal of the workshop is a discussion between stakeholders operating in the energy sector to share experiences and virtuous projects, in the field of public lighting. In particular, the workshop aims at collecting expressions of interest for a partnership with the objective to design public lighting in the tourist area of Bethlehem, that takes into consideration both artistic and sustainable dimensions.
The NUR project, whose LINKS Foundation is a partner, is coordinated by the Municipality of Turin on the basis of a Cooperation Pact signed with the Municipality of Bethlehem to support local development and is co-funded by AICS (Italian Agency for Development Cooperation). Focus of the project is to promote the adoption of renewable energy sources in the area of Bethlehem, through technical actions, professional training and raising awareness actions.
