Description:
Design and evaluate a robot-mediated distraction protocol using NAO or quadrupedal robot in a vaccination room: brief multimodal interactions (voice, gestures, gaze/LEDs, quick games) delivered after the injection, coordinated with the medical staff. The literature indicates that social robots can reduce anxiety and distress in pediatric clinical contexts, such as vaccination.
